Harassment and Layoffs

Pros

They will never know if you are working or not, because they do not have a functional system in place. They make it very easy for low performers to get away with anything.

Cons

1. I have been told promotions are not available for people who do not make work a full priority over their families. You have mandatory evening work that is not necessary, but is "smoke testing." 2. Retaliation is a major issue. Getting perfect scores for annual reviews, and still being told we did not meet expectations. Being put on performance reviews because we reported abusive and illegal behavior from management. 3. Layoffs galore. They are eliminating Business Analytics all together. Management wants operations to interact directly with developers for reporting issues and enhancements. 4. extremely poor annual raises and bonus system 5. Benefits package from the largest healthcare company in the world are some of the most expensive you can find anywhere. 6. The culture is that of fear and intimidation, outside thoughts and discussions are not only discouraged, but punished. 7. Promotional opportunities are given to best friends, wives, and people who go on vacation with their boss.

Productivity vampires

Pros

Two extra paid holidays. Not having to use PTO for major holidays is nice.

Cons

Using Taylor's time and motion studies to monitor productivity turns employees into automatons. There's no joy in working for this company. Continuous meetings about how upper management is doing. Allowing upper management to work from home and not giving the same options to employees. Taking less time from actually being productive at work to do productivity sheets in four-fold now, yet still demanding impossible results with reduced staff. Not allowing for growth within the company. a very limited school payment opportunity.

Pros

Everything about working with the company has been smooth with fully remote or hybrid working status.

Cons

The EHR could use a lot of work but they are implementing improvements slowly- however requests for template changes on the charting side rarely get acknowledged anymore
