Pros

Huge company, lots of movement opportunities if you don't like what you're doing. The managers in InfoSc that I have met appear to be interested in their employes growth.

Cons

Super Woke. Like SUPER Woke. More focused on DEI than doing the job.

Pros

None - this company is a dumpster fire

Cons

Ridiculous and inconsistent hiring process Regularly offers wages much lower than position or experience are worth Swallows up smaller companies for one or two services and scraps the rest Can't hold government contracts that have been part of business for decades Constant layoff and reorganization Discriminatory practice for hiring and termination Leadership really couldn't care less about employees and are only interested in the bottom line

Pros

The training is thorough and it's nice to work from home.

Cons

You aren't really told what you're getting yourself into when you're hired or in training...once you pass your assessment after training and you're released to production, the expectations are set unreasonably high. Managers are bullies and use fear tactics as control. Metrics must be met "or else". It's incredibly stressful. There is software you have to download that tracks your keystrokes and mouse clicks--you'll register as "idle" after one minute without clicking your mouse or using your keyboard. Honestly, this job made me question whether not I even wanted to be a coder anymore. It felt really oppressive and I'm glad to be out.
