Pros

Remote position, supportive management, great team collaboration, paid training, reimbursement for CEUs

Cons

Can be difficult to get PTO if not requested more than 3 weeks in advance. High copay/coinsurance/deductible with benefit plan. Some of the tasks are not clinical in nature and require a lot of administrative work which can feel redundant

Pros

Work from home - that's it

Cons

Making outbound calls and the majority of people don't want to talk to you. Software and charting is RIDICULOUS!! Health insurance was horrible...paid for NOTHING until you met a ridiculous deductible.

Pros

Good supervisors UNDER SR. management level. Great team feeling of a small community at least in my last position. I love the telecommute aspect.

Cons

1% average raise is insulting, especially when new employees make as much as the nurses with 5+ years at Optum. Repeated issues with software never fixed, just promises. You lose your accrued PTO upon leaving company, or even resignation notice. The medical insurance offers SUCK, and the micro management is one more reason why, after 9yr here, I am leaving.
