There are some really good folks who work at the company and care about clients and patients.

Cons

The aforementioned good folks are not in mgmt. Micromanagement is the norm. Upper mgmt does not care about clients, employees or work like balance. Process is the most important aspect of working at Optum; clients be damned.

Great team of MRs, MAs, LVNs, RNs, NPs, PAs and MDs.

Cons

Site Administrator and nurse supervisor are awful. They are setting you up for failure. The nurse supervisor does not follow chain of command and reports everything to the site administrator. The site admin is condescending, untrustworthy and does not care for employees like she claims. The nurse sup only accommodates people she likes and will gossip about everyone including her boss. Good people have left the org because of these people
