Pros

Oracle has a very good benefit package with health, dental, and vision insurance. Being a large company there are lots of resources, if you can tap into them.

Cons

Very political environment with lots of CYA and managing upward. Being a huge company whose primary product advancement come from acquisitions there is very little innovation going on. Very difficult to get promoted or recognized if you don't work at HQ (Redwood City).
