Mandatory RTO Implemented poorly

Pros

The new location is nice with a nice floor plan The culture that's being developed is an excellent concept and the changes that are happening will make it even better.

Cons

The recently implemented return to office was an attempt to get people to quit so that employees from mergers with overlapping positions will have a place. The pay does not take local economies or tenure and loyalty into consideration; especially with return to office and gas prices. Been in current position over 3 years and not at mid-pay but consistently work overtime and meet service agreements.

Pros

Great community of people remote and in office

Cons

Layoffs for companies who are purchased. Too siloed, people do not know what is going on across the company.

Pros

For the most part, the company is supportive of your career goals. People seem to care about doing what is right. There are opportunities to cross train and get to know people outside of your department. Osaic seems to be headed down the right path, but only time will tell. Not all broker dealers have transitioned yet.

Cons

Advisor Group became Osaic, and with the new re-branding came a bunch of company swag mailed to our residences. This isn't necessarily a con. The company wants each employee to represent. I get it. But I wonder how much of the cost is coming out of everyone's year-end bonus? It's nice to receive a company gift. What's even nicer is when the gift comes in the form of cash. Everyone is feeling the burden of inflation. And with employees returning back to the office and having to spend more on gas, every little bit of paper goes a long way.
