Pros

I work with awesome people who want to see you succeed, we work hard but the management understands that life happens and are very accommodating to scheduling. The best resources and all the tools you need to do the job right are provided. I work with a fun team with great values who are committed to excellency and it is great!

Cons

95% office work 5% field work, so far.

We're glad you enjoy your team and working for Otak! You might want to talk to your manager about your every other Friday off idea...not everyone would like the 9-hour workday part, but sounds like it would be great for you. We strive for flexibility in work-life balance, and it looks different for each employee.

Easy atmosphere to work in. Overall staff is very helpful and easily approachable.

Cons

Lack of opportunity and easily pigeonholed into project types. The work here is rather mundane/monotonous.

Pros

I have been with Otak for about a year and a half and have noticed huge changes for the better. The company really puts forth an effort to offer a healthy work/life balance for its employees and encourages personal career development. We put a high value on sustainability and giving back to the community - you can even accrue additional PTO through volunteering! It is an open door environment from top down so everyone feels inclusive. Management does a great job keeping staff informed on financials, strategic growth plans and employee accomplishments and recognition.

Cons

Technology needs to be updated on some fronts.

Thank you for your comments. Otak's opportunity to accrue PTO through volunteering is one of the best benefits we offer! Employees also have the option to donate their PTO to help coworkers in need. You'll be glad to hear that our IT team has been bolstered and revitalized, and they are working on several improvements to boost our technology tools and resources. I know you'll see the results of these improvements soon!
