Pros

Working at Overwatch gives you the opportunity to work in a remote, hybrid, or full in person role. Coming in person helps keep you focused, and have engaging conversations the team.

Cons

A lot of team members work from home, so sometimes I work with just a few people in the office.

Pros

Real ownership. You’re trusted to run complex, multi-site programs end-to-end—scope, safety, schedule, budget, and stakeholder management. Decisions are close to the work, not buried in layers. People who care about the work and each other. The culture is safety-first and team-first. Field, ops, finance, and talent all pull in the same direction. When a site is hot, leadership shows up—literally and figuratively. Access to leadership. Execs are visible, direct, and open to data. If you come with facts and a plan, you’ll get support. Career velocity. If you want responsibility, you’ll get it fast. Clear expectations, consistent feedback, and real opportunities to lead bigger work streams. Standards and purpose. Mission-critical means zero-drama execution. We take quality, safety, and client trust seriously. That clarity makes it easier to lead.

Cons

Pace is relentless. Client timelines shift; priorities do too. If you need rigid routines, this will frustrate you. Scaling pains. Processes and systems evolve quickly. You have to be comfortable improving the plane while flying it.

Pros

Great entry into the Data Center industry Compensation is pretty good Health benefits are really good

Cons

There is no preparation for employees when the client role is nearing its end Field employees jobs are not protected and they will likely be let go when the client decides they no longer need the role at random. It seems OW doesn't have enough accounts to support field Construction Managers and PMs. Instead of trying to find a new role when your current project is ending or when you have outgrown where you are, your concerns are ignored and you are told there are no opportunities because you lack experience... your education and prior experience if it's not technical is not considered valuable. Field team members are completely disconnected from Corporate. They are not invited to the Company’s annual DCAC conference nor are they included in any official company events.
