Pros

Decent benefits Fun technology Interesting people

Cons

Dysfunctional Chaotic Disorganized Terrible communication Demoralizing Inefficient Ineffective Leadership appears near sighted by consistently sacrificing long term gains for short term profit. Always waiting until the last minute. Big sweatshop energy. An organization replete with ineptitude at the managerial level, and filled with shinning stars in engineering roles. Too many email/teams meeting job people, not enough people for real work. The company keeps adding layers of administrative work for everything. What used to take me 5-10 minutes, now takes 45 minutes of uphill beaurocracratic battles. Getting anything done around here is like scaling the cliffs of Pointe Du Hoc.

Pros

Benefits pretty good, though some are pointless, in my opinion. I would prefer to see the money spent on the useless benefits (like Nectar), spent on a more competitive salary. Interesting technology Some interesting people

Cons

Minimal career growth. Lack of communication for process or business changes. Lack of communication on product updates and new product releases. Lack of communication across the board. It's so bad that it borders nefarious. Owl told the entire company that we are going to "unlimited" PTO, only to then have the document read 4-6 weeks. Owl hosted a webinar about releasing a new product, and told all the customers the product was releasing that day, only to have the product not released that day. Many of the products seem to have been rushed out the door and released when incomplete. Product testing and Quality Assurance is wholly inadequate, they exist, but do they do anything? From my point of view, the evidence points to no, not really. The company seems to often make business decisions without consulting the relevant stakeholders. I work in front of customers often and I have to buy Owl branded shirts if I want to make Owl look professional when on a customer site. Have this big move going in one of our offices and the entire thing has been a mess, conflicting information from upper management being the main problem.
