Pros

Free food on statutory holidays, fun coworkers, work with many departments and not just your own.

Cons

No work/life balance appreciation, standing or working in unsafe conditions sometimes, sometimes going into work it makes you feel like you were going into prison because you were being micromanaged often, locker/lunch room is constantly changing and in a not so good way, felt under appreciated for your work, not enough to acknowledgement of good work, can get written up for many different reasons, didn't have the proper resources or quality resources to perform our job, you can't move up in the company because they feel like you are not capable enough and feel like you are better off doing the same role

Pros

The pay and benefits are definitely a pro for working at Oxford. There may be room to grow in the company if you are willing to play corporate politics and be a favourite amongst senior leaders.

Cons

The work culture is a huge issue that needs to be addressed. Favoritism in the workplace is blatant and discouraging to employees. A lot of senior leaders are lifers and have a very traditional way of doing things. They claim to be "innovative" yet won't listen to recommendations and feedback. Perhaps more inclusion and diversity within senior leadership would help with this. Please take a look at your leadership team... it's all WHITE. The "Canada's Great Place to Work" award was most likely paid for as it is laughable.
