Pros

-This has to be the best company I've worked for in Canada. They truly value their employees and continuously invest into ongoing training and learning for all -Salary is competitive and bonuses are great -Great benefits package -Sense of pride working for Oxford

Cons

-There is a disconnect between head office staff and those onsite however I know this issue is on the radar with upper management and they are striving to bridge the gap -I've heard that it's very difficult to transition from one department to another, although they project the facade of in-house promotion being a priority. Out of about 5 people I knew trying to switch roles, 0 were successful and it wasn't because they were unqualified -Further to my point above, HR is very spotty. Not so much on the management level but more so with recruitment and the middle ground. Expect the run around with any questions or issues you may have

Horrible middle management

Pros

Oxford offers a competitive salary and the company is growing at a fast speed. There's always interesting projects to work on.

Cons

Salary is only competitive because they don't pay overtime. The higher salary is supposed to compensate for the incredible amount of overtime you will need to do. They promise work life balance but their definition of work life balance is leaving on time and logging in from home at night time. I often sat there not having anything particularly urgently due until 10 or 11pm just because they wouldn't let me leave. Some of the middle management have no clue what they are doing and they over work their staff to produce the work with additional supporting information to dumb it down for them. They'll even roll their eyes at you if you tell them you have to leave on time today.

Pros

The pay is decent and the work cut out for you is simple: greet guests, organize files, send mail, order supplies, update contacts lists, organize break room etc.

Cons

The manager in the Boston office has quite the attitude and doesn't show any respect for others, especially those who are there to help her. Not a pleasant person to be around all day.
