Pros

I was able to learn about hedis and star measures. building relationships with providers and not being stuck in the office all day.

Cons

high volume phone calls, management was terrible with one manager in particular. She was a tyrant and had absolutely no decorum.

Lackluster leadership

Pros

Pay is comparable if not better than other employers. Some really nice supervisors.

Cons

Medical benefits are not that great. Some managers not so great and are not "working" managers. Managers are often behind closed doors in endless meetings. Lack of communication from the top down.

Unorganized Chaos

Pros

You can wear whatever you want and hybrid remote positions are plentiful

Cons

The company is completely unorganized. Trying to perform the duties of your job will be exceedingly challenging as everything that goes into the systems has to be challenged for accuracy. There’s no accountability. Pay is unequal based of job or duties performed. Recently, massive layoffs are only going to contribute to an already weighty workload. The company has an astronomical turnover rate.
