Pros

New plant, some new employee's, has a chance to be better than parent company in Ohio. Three shifts of 8 hours for flexibility. Lots of overtime available.

Cons

Huge amounts of scrap. Old equipment, new plant is given most of the parent companies old stuff and expected to run at full speed. High employee turnovers. Low wages. Have to eat lunches and take breaks while working on the lines. Lots of mandatory overtimes.

Great people, many employees had been with the company for a long time, new manager didn't seem to care about them, just was looking for the new fresh blood that would follow blindly.

Cons

new manager didn't seem to care about them, just was looking for the new fresh blood that would follow blindly, if you questioned things, you had a target on your back. A lot of people even in the office have left due to the way things are going.
