Pros

Flexible hours, remote-friendly, very competent and talented teammates, fast-growing company with exciting opportunities, good benefits. The best place I've ever worked at!

Cons

No paid overtime due to flexible hours policy, but this is very minor and makes sense. The base compensation is generous, and they add in stipends for work-from-home employees to cover some costs.

Pros

Everyone is very supportive and inclusive, a real team-oriented attitude. No micromanaging. Very selective hiring. Ongoing learning. And providing a service that helps the underprivileged.

Cons

Sometimes the break-room can be a bit messy. But I work remotely. So, I guess, maybe, in a way, that one might *partly* be on me. Similarly, I'm putting a 4/5 on work-life balance, but that's mostly because the nature of my job can sometimes be hard to shut my brain off, not due to pressure from the company or anything. Also it's a pandemic, and like, there's nothing good on TV anymore, so what ELSE am I supposed to think about?!

- feels good to work for a company who mission is to improve education equity - modern tech stack - company is growing, which means there is opportunity for you to grow - supportive, positive culture, especially in engineering team

Cons

- some growing pains and inevitable frustrations as a dev when the team is small and being asked to deliver a lot
