when working in live classroom, it can be very stressful because you may have to tutor 5 or more students at a time

For HQ employees, Paper is remote-first and offers a competitive base salary + full health insurance coverage.

Cons

Bonuses as well as 401k matching were canceled. Hiring and promotions are no longer frozen but happen very slowly. After several rounds of layoffs in less than two years, the small remaining staff seems defeated.
