      Meh - Certainly not the best place to work.

      Pros

      Seems like there should be opportunity. Turns out to be a bait and swap. Old tech -- lots of acquisition -- no integration

      Cons

      Senior leadership stinks. No real experience, No actual vision, No ability to execute on some of the simplest things. Visionaries are all gone

      Pros

      1) CEO is very awesome 2) PAR is still trying to figure out what it wants to be when it grows up so the business is still very malleable 3) Working here is not very difficult, just time consuming

      Cons

      1) People have high positions here despite not really knowing what they are doing 2) The person in the room who talks the loudest seems to be the one who gets promoted 3) Growth officer seems to think it is funny/appropriate to make fun of employees behind their back with his buddies 4) Credit is not shared with those that deserve it 5) Tons of people still left behind from the "good old days" of PAR

      Company has improved/

      Pros

      Company is now focused on software. In the past Par has had all the pieces but just lacked an excellent software product. This has been rectified with Brink. The addition of a talented new CEO, as well as the new team he has brought in , has made Par an up and coming company.

      Cons

      The founder of Par was an impediment to growth. With his departure (along with members of his family that were part of management) Par's future now looks bright.
