Pros

Casual working environment, and there is a pleasant atmosphere amongst co-workers. If you are salaried the hours are very flexible and some positions have the ability to work from home or remotely. Discounts on product are quite significant and the extended health and benefits package are quite good

Cons

The talent pool is incredibly shallow, management is stretched too thin and are not as capable as they would like to think. There are no opportunities for growth of vertical progression and no career development is offered. The ELT is myopic and more concerned with the parent company's impression of them than the operation of their own subsidiary. Nepotism and favouritism reign supreme, and are the legacy hallmarks of a once family owned company. Salaries are a joke, and bonuses and raises are a sad punchline.
