Pros

PFL was choc full of great people and exciting culture. There was a real buzz in the building and exciting things ahead with the software product development but that all changed when Andrew Field and Nick Runyon left.

Cons

Dave Hawkins and Jac Saltzgiver were completely out of touch with employees and their ideas. Dave "managed" from his home office in MI and when he did come in, he never left his office. It was commonplace for Dave to make racist and sexist remarks and give "cute" nicknames to his female colleagues. He also eliminated the DE&I newsletter without any conversation, just made that decision himself. Jac was hard to communicate with and often seemed to only focus on what was wrong. Shortly after one of many layoffs, he said in a company-wide meeting "build your own culture" and he didn't dedicate the time needed to develop those in junior leadership. There were very few career advancement opportunities as well.
