Safety, crew rest when needed, the scope of practice.
Cons
The paramedic with a bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience shouldn't make $10 less an hour than the nurse with an associate's degree and 3 years of experience. The pay needs to be based on the individual and the qualifications they possess, not if they have RN behind their name. We do the same job.
