I am the last person that anyone would think would post to this site, but it's time that someone spoke up. There are things being posted on this site that, as a current employee, I do not feel are true, and since nobody else is going to stand up for us as a company, I decided I would. A) If you are not a TRUE current employee of PLI, stop it. Enough said. B) Stop it with the crap about HR. It's not true, and none of the stuff that is being posted on this site is actually happening in the plant. The entire HR team is helpful, and are really the only department within the company that looks out for all of us, and keeps all of our best interests in mind. C) In regards to all of the negative comments about the CEO - This week he had each and every employee's back within the company. If you have a PLI Email Account you read what I am referring to, and if not, you've heard about it. D) Everyone was in the ESOP Meetings last week. All we heard was POSITIVE things coming from management. We are still growing and evolving, and most importantly, we are all financially benefiting from the success that we all are sharing! It takes a village, right? Everyone's job is important, and means something to the success of ALL OF US.
Cons
If people truly have these issues, stop hiding behind this site and SPEAK UP. Go to someone that can make a change. Stop complaining on the internet, and do something about it. Be a part of the solution, and not continue to be a part of the silent party - AKA the problem. I have only worked for this company for 2 years, and yes I feel as though the moral was down at the beginning of the year. No doubt about it. I also feel that it has changed! People are happy, everyone is smiling more, etc.
