Pros

Management training program (MIT) allowed for a smooth transition into a full time management posititon. The potential to learn multiple facets of the company, and how to manage personel, inventory, logistics, and finances. Jobs are available across the country and even internationally. The benefits are above par, with a growing welness program.

Cons

Summer seasonal work hours are a little long.

Pros

-Manager in Training program is a great fit for recent college graduates. -Strong opportunities for advancement if you are a driven employee. -Personable management. From sales center level up to the top. -Work experience is great. You really have the opportunity to make an impact and your ideas are listened to at the branch level. -Good yearly bonus opportunities for managers. -Benefits package is good and has improved the past few years.

Cons

-Many pool and spa companies still operate like it is the 90's. You have to be very patient with customers and some vendors who at times may lack professionalism. (There are many exceptions to this though don't get me wrong) -Salaries are somewhat lower than you'd hope but you won't starve either. -Seasonality of the business can sometimes make for long days in season. -Fast paced warehouse environment. As a manager you must be able to deal with people from different backgrounds and figure out how to get the most out of your team. -If you want to wear business casual type clothes to work everyday this is not the place for you.
