Pros

I worked primarily for in-home services which means I did not work in an office setting. I love that. Excellent work culture. CSS team is wonderful. Pay was great for first job out of school. Benefits are great. Mileage is reimbursed at a good rate.

Cons

If you work in-home services, bed bugs are a possibility. There is no reimbursement for bug extermination. I enjoyed on the road work, but others may not. You will be in the car quite a bit taking clients to and fro in your own car.

Pros

- The clients - It can feel rewarding at times (because of the clients)

Cons

- Toxic workplace culture - upper management at RA have favorites that are readily apparent, and they are unnecessarily rude and condescending to non-favorites - Terribly low pay - In this field you get used to feeling under-appreciated at times, but this place takes it to a whole new level - You essentially perform the duties of a social worker, but a fun bonus is that you're also a cook at lunchtime! (Lunch is not free, even if you make it yourself)
