Pros

To learn how to do crisis se escalation work on a phone line run through NSPL

Cons

This company does not care about its employees or volunteers. The trainers are often miscommunicating despite training in crisis de escalation and negotiation/reflective non directive non judgmental listening. They often make presumptions and will stab people behind the back. This has been a continued theme for few years amongst many other past employees as well. Will stonewall and ignore emails when concerns come up. Will humiliate you in front of others without empathy when giving negative feedback Bc they feel their power has been questioned over minor suggestions. They will then gaslight you til you are having panic attacks from the mistreatment after hours and days worth of work in training to even be allowed to volunteer with them.
