Pros

Currently (Dec 2019) the headcount in PTC is 750 staff members and the plan is to grow to 2500 within the next 3 to 4 years. Its an ambitious plan but it seems well laid out. There is a strong culture and patent-centric approach in the company. The work is interesting as there is a lack of bureaucracy so ideas are welcome and encouraged. You get great exposure to the top decision makers which is wonderful.

Cons

If you have a big Pharma mind set and can not adjust to a smaller Bio therapeutics company then this is not the company for you.

Pros

It is an exciting time to be at PTC! I left a large company where everyone was constantly worried about being downsized. It is the opposite here. The company is going through a rapid growth stage and there are so many opportunties for the eager and ambitious to take advantage of. Great work is rewarded.

Cons

There is so much to do, sometimes it is hard to prioritize because we want to focus on everything at once. Hiring more people is helping.

The company used to be a nice place to work. However, everything has been changed lately.

Cons

It is very toxic working environment. People always worried be fired or laid off. The manager had to force people to give a good rating at Gallup survey.
