Pros

- Work anywhere there is internet. - Good for spare pocket money, maybe students who don't really need to work or retired people with a steady pension.

Cons

- Boring - Pay starts OK ($12USD/Hr), then they cut it to $10, then they start screwing with your time logged so it ends up being $8-$9/hr. - Periods of absolutely no work, sometimes for weeks,

Pros

Free to do work whenever you want, no pressure from management to complete a quota every week etc.

Cons

Bad management, Project assistants and managers have no idea what they are doing, Bad communication with the transcribers - one week they will say something and another week they will do something different than what they said they would do, salary payment is not on an exact date, they always say between e.g. 10 - 15th of every month but always pay late by around 10 days, work is not always available, when there is work they will just go on a recruitment spree and recruit any monkey with a computer, no advancement in career.

Pros

Flexible work schedule Good pay if you're working from Canada due to exchange rate

Cons

Management treats you like a "resource", AKA they'll use you when they need you and chuck you to the curb when they're done. Don't expect steady hours. One week you'll be harassed to do 20+ hours and other weeks you'll have your account disabled due to "shortages" AKA over-hiring.
