Welcome to the land of FUD. - Big changes are coming, and not in a good way. This used to be a great place to work - fantastic people, culture & atmosphere and customers LOVE the product. But they've been trying to modernize the software for over 10 years, under successive management teams - they talk and hypothesize and ponder yet achieve very little - I pity the sales guys trying to persuade customers to renew their maintenance every year when so little is being added to the software. The CEO is a numbers man, with zero people skills and a terrible track record in hiring senior people. They've been without a CTO for almost a year, with the CEO filling in. He is definitely not a technologist and the dev teams are hurting and haemorrhaging people because of it. Ongoing events are going to shake things up enormously, ensuring Paessler will never be the same again. So very sad, it used to be great and I feel so sorry for my former colleagues.
