Pros

Since I joined Pagerduty, the results from quarters have been constantly positive. That demonstrates the effort and commitment from every team to make an impact on our customers.

Cons

while remote jobs are great in many aspects, I think the lack of real life interaction with other employees may affect cooperation between teams.

Very safe place to work, and to make a career

Pros

I feel safe and well treated, I'm a member of the queer community, I'm not super vocal about it and always have hidden this aspect from work, they sure are truly inclusive, I was positively surprised. I can be opinionated here, and lead if I want to, I think its the first time in my 15 years career I actually know (and believe) the company values, this is not an exaggeration. My manager is VERY good, they earned my respect, having good leaders and team members makes the difference when working for a company. Collaboration with other teams is very good as well. Jenn is a rockstar BTW :)

Cons

Getting to do stuff can be sluggish at times, but this is normal for a company this size, at least they do listen when we complain about it! so changes are being made.

Pros

- Excellent opportunities for upward mobility. In my role and with my direct manager, there was ample opportunity to discuss growth. I moved fairly quickly into a new role at PagerDuty after my skills were identified by a manager as an appropriate fit and I was encouraged to pursue the new role. This is real, organic mobility... a tuned in leader who recognizes opportunities in their internal employees. - There is a concerted effort to develop a work experience that addresses employee requests rather than a program the simply fits company's budget. This means that benefits and time off are generous and people-focused with a mindset of continual improvement. - My direct manager is exceptional. Her ability to balance the needs of the company with the needs of her employees made that feel like a synchronous, organic relationship. - The people are next level. These are a group of passionate, intelligent, innovative people who value the work they do. This is evident in the success the company has experienced and the durability it demonstrates. - Prospects. PagerDuty continues to grow and evolve in a way that instills confidence in the long term prospects of the organization, and stability in this volatile industry is so valuable.

Cons

- Growth comes with change and challenge. This is not necessarily a con, but new employees should be prepared for this. Change and challenge is what keeps us innovative and that it what make us relevant and durable!
