Pros

You are free to teach your own curriculum. Senior staff hardly micro manage you, which is plus. The benefits as a part-time employee are spectacular. Great way to network with businesses in your area.

Cons

Poor communication between departments. As a Adjunct you can only teach 12 hours max a week. This hardly a part-time job, and you can't teach in any other departments to pick up more hours.
