Pros

Best union in CA when it comes to education. Rediculiously good family benefits package. Awesome management - they advocate for their employees. Diverse staff and population of students. Veteran friendly for students and employees.

Cons

Because the union is what it is some people that should be dismissed are still around and don't have a passion for the student.

It's a good stepping stone and hopefully a resume booster toward education

Pros

It's a good place if you value education in society. It's one of the bigger CC's in North County SD. Campus is nice, people are generally nice.

Cons

Pay is limited, hours are limited, no benefits (which is pretty much expected). Might take a long time for advancement as full-time positions are scarce these days.

Pros

Usually pretty easy to get classes I wanted. Also this is a good place to be able to get on committees which is excellent experience for trying to obtain s tenure track position.

Cons

The pay is not the best around.
