This specific team is new and has many areas for improvement. I was only given one mapping project to complete from start to finish on my own in my year at the company. There were many opportunities to gain experience; however, tasks were not divided/delegated in a way that would allow analysts to gain tangible experience. Overall, people were very pleasant to work with. I had interpersonal issues with a senior analyst (read: workplace bullying) and my manager did not effectively address the situation. I chose to leave the company because I did not feel as though I could grow within the team. I did not have the opportunity to use SQL at all during this year despite taking a SQL based test during the interview process.
