Pros
Good mixture of healthcare/analytics/consulting/pharma/software. Lots of opportunities for growth and responsibility since BHE is a smaller (but growing!) company. Was expected to take on design, analysis and client-facing tasks earlier and more often than at other companies, and freely put on publications and abstracts. Feel I can really chart my own path here. The company's Instant Health Data (IHD) rapid data analysis software is doing real well, and because of this, I think BHE is a good place to be now, and a good place to keep an eye on.
Cons
Not many downsides. Good PTO policies, remote work opportunities, flexible hours, and parking. Near all the major pharma companies in Waltham. While at other companies there is a tendency for junior staff to "watch", here I get to "do". So if you're an observer, this may not be the place for you.
