      Great Job for College Students

      Pros

      Management is very considerate towards the time needs of its student employees. I have never been forced to work when I needed time off to study, work on projects, or attend seminars and job fairs to further my education or seek out a professional career.

      Cons

      In order to maximize your earnings at PJ's, either managing or delivering, you must committ to working early into the morning. This is just the nature of working in the pizza business. Besides dinner rush, most business comes late at night after traditional dine-in restaurants have already closed.

      Pros

      The environment was slightly fast paced, but not overwhelming. It was a great first job, teaching good skills to new workers. The managers were decent, not unfair. The work itself wasn't too strenuous.

      Cons

      No breaks where I was working. It was tough on the longer days, and it would have been nice to get a good 15 minute break.

      Pros

      Easy to get hired here, Because they are always hiring. Lots of friendly people to work with. You get to be out of the store a lot.

      Cons

      Well I have worked for This Company for over 9 years on and off as a closing Driver. I used to make 8.00 hr + average of 80.00 per nite in tips. That was 5 years ago. Now I get paid 4.19 hr while I'm on a delivery, and average about 30.00 nite in tips. Plus the 90cents per delivery they pay us for gas just doesn't cover it. I pay on average of 3 bucks a nite for gas out of my own pocket!! It also doesn't help that Papa Johns competes with there drivers for tips by charging 2.50 delivery fee, which some people THINK the driver receives. I used to average 20 delivers a nite, But now I'm lucky to get 10.
