Pros

The most amazing office culture I've ever had the pleasure of being part of. HR does a great job of maintaining clear communication channels. The leadership team is involved and try to be as forthcoming as possible. Work/life balance! I was on a team that worked directly with the customer and I never felt pressured to always "rise to the call of duty" when things got crazy. Instead, I did it because I wanted to contribute. PTO and work from home is flexible. We had the option to work from home whenever we wanted really, there was never an issue with it. Snacks, company sponsored outings, and the usual start up perks! Career development - this can vary per team and manager, but my manager and the company made is clear they wanted to develop their employees and build their skills so they stay for the long run. PP invests in their employees, which is wonderful.

Cons

Lack of accountability. When things would break, or dev would ship code that wasn't 100% up to snuff, it would directly affect PP's revenue and there were no repercussions for the dev team. Because of the size of the company, getting to know individuals outside of your team can be difficult. Integrating yourself can be challenging at first. May 2017 was a difficult month because PP restructured their business model to eliminate one of their products (PAPER products). This left 22 individuals without a job suddenly, and many teams had shifted responsibilities. I feel like this decision was a direct reflection of the management teams inefficiencies. Being in the position to restructure a profitable business model felt like the wrong move. It seriously cut morale, and hurt the company more than did good.

Pros

Sadly there are none to share

Cons

Management team isn't great at communicating or sharing thought leadership. Layoffs occurred during covid and wasn't handled well. Personally do not recommend working here unless you are in or have a connection with upper management.

Pros

Paperless Post is the place to be. A very diverse staff which makes creative thinking very easy within the teams. Unlimited WFH days as long as they are pre-approved

Cons

Missing updates is very easy if you are not paying attention to your slacks channel since there are so many updates.
