Pros

- Stellar people work here. Everyone is knowledgable and generally chill to be around. - There's always work to be done. Challenging work. I'm always learning new things and find great additions to put inside the box labelled "things I know". - Projects are not usually independent; occasionally you get projects that require lots of inter-team collaboration. You actually get the chance to work with others instead of keeping work between you and your own team. This is awesome, because the people are awesome. It also keeps every project fresh in that sense because you're not always working with the same people. - Engineering teams often contain more roles than just developers. Each team usually has a product manager and designers, so you get to work with a lot of people. - Great environment (office equipment, sunshine on nice days with blinds to dim the room if necessary, not too close to ground floor to hear distracting beeps and other noises). Location is nice for lots of great food and is pretty convenient to get to. - We have occasional free meals, hackathons, team outings, and there's almost always plenty of food / beer in the fridge.

Cons

None that I can think of. How could it be a 5 star rating with any cons?!

Pros

Paperless Post is an environment where you'll have the flexibility and comfort to learn and pick up as much as you can handle. If you push yourself hard enough, it's possible that in two months, you can learn more than you did after three years in a previous job. It's possible. It has happened... and will happen again.

Cons

Wish it was a dog-friendly environment. (Or that the building could let us bring dogs to work.)

Pros

A place where quality is considered, whether it's quality of life, work, or the output. The culture is warm and definitely collaborative. They are interested in the personal growth of each employee. Open to new ideas and care deeply about being the best in the category.

Cons

Management need to be aligned
