Pros

This program offers meaningful work with obvious results. We have the opportunity to provide an important service to people both in our community and outside of our community with urgent mental health care needs. Working at paradigm means to join a family of dedicated professionals. We work hard and play hard together, and we live in a spectacular part of the country in a friendly community with endless recreational opportunities. The company pays well and treats its employees with respect.

Cons

Residential treatment is an intense work setting. It is more of a calling than just a job, and work life balance can be challenging. Living in the rural, Pacific Northwest means that Internet connectivity is not always ideal, and road conditions can be challenging.

Great support, wonderful team but Altior is ruining the company

Pros

-wonderful people to work with -super knowledgeable coworkers and supervisors -fun place to work with kids if you are in the adolescent program -GREAT place to LEARN in the mental health field, especially if you are in school!!

Cons

-low pay for the amount of work you do -the role of a CA especially at the Meadows House Adolescent program is held at a higher expectation than the Point Dume house yet, you have the same pay as the other CA's. Paradigm wants to hold you at the same professional manner as a therapist which would be great if the pay were to be raised a bit. - it is difficult to get a pay raise. I was with them for over a year and a half and only got a 25 cent raise ONCE All in all, this is Altior's rules and enforcements on our supervisors. Not the direct team's fault. Altior (HR) is at fault for making these decisions and making Paradigm intolerable at times.
