Pros

- good experience, it is difficult at times but will set you up for dealing with chaos and managing it. - you get fed, although they don't give you a "lunch" and every break is interrupted. at least you get some miso salmon. -ability to help. this is why I stayed for 2+ years. It’s the most rewarding aspect of this job.

Cons

- ALWAYS throws the "well what can you do to fix the problem" back in your face regardless of how much you do. this causes lots of burn out and a never-ending feeling of needing to go above and beyond every second. - occasionally you will encounter high school drama and boredom in the workplace. this combo leads to a rumor mill and a bunch of weird dynamics. - unequal treatment, those who are "playing the game" go farther. meaning, make "friends" with the right people or else you get overlooked every step of the way. - even if you are "overqualified" on paper, they won't promote you even if you fight for it. - ethically not sound, had someone ask all people on my team to "forge' notes. meaning, if we didn't do a note and didn't remember what they ate or how they behaved, wed make it up just so the insurance companies/ compliance wouldn't get mad. - poorly run, tried to discuss why I wanted to quit (even after 2+ years of working with them and training the entire team of from scratch) - they didn't even let me give feedback. they even decided to kick me out an extra week ahead of time. I didn't even get to say bye to my favorite coworkers or collect my things. - treated me so poorly that even another employee decided to leave with me due to the already increasing load of responsibilities from my departure. overall, i always did my best but was still treated like an outcast. i brought cupcakes, even tried to make conversations with everyone there. immature and judgmental employees run amuck. thought HR would value me, nope- think again. there's MANY, MUCH better facilities out there that will value your work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond. this place protects people that make it more difficult for everyone- both clients and staff.

Pros

Benefits, pay, work environment, management works to accommodate scheduling preferences as best they can, rewarding work with clients. Clear vision for staff moving forward with new growth ladder.

Cons

Team members in the past have treated the job like babysitting instead of truly caring.
