Pros

• Attorney-oriented: The philosophy is that if attorneys are happy, they'll do great work, which ultimately means clients are happy. I see this in action every day. • Great leadership: Outstanding women run this place. They’re all whip-smart, kind, supportive, engaged, down-to-earth, and truly interested in employee satisfaction. They make me feel like I belong at Paragon. • Flexibility: There’s a true willingness to work with attorneys on schedules they want, making a life outside of work a reality. • Clients and challenging work: They have a great roster of tech clients. Interesting work opportunities abound. • Pay and benefits: Competitive packages—I feel well-compensated.

Cons

None I can think of.

Thank you for the very positive feedback on the work we are doing here at Paragon! As you shared, we believe that happy attorneys mean happy clients, and happy clients do all of our marketing for us! We are so glad that you feel this is a firm where you belong. We work hard to create a sense of community and family here, which is not easy within a secondment model where our attorneys largely sit at the client site. It is so rewarding to be working with an amazing group of attorneys who work hard to make this model and this firm successful. Thank you!

Pros

They hire the best and treat their staff very well. Intelligent, respectable, friendly and down to earth staff and leadership. Instead of aiming to grow in size by leaps and bounds like many firms out there, they keep the number of employees limited by hiring only high quality staff. So refreshing.

Cons

Have yet to find anything negative, except that benefits could be improved. Hard to do as a small firm though.

I'm so glad your experience at Paragon has been a positive one. As you've said, we do approach the secondment model differently than competing firms, choosing to grow one resource at a time and selecting only the best to work with us. Thank you for your feedback on benefits, an area we look at closely every year to understand how we can enhance and ensure that we are doing better than our competitors. We understand that compensation and benefits must be the most competitive offered in order for us to attract and retain the highest-caliber resources.

Thank you for your review! We understand project predictability is one of the biggest challenges when it comes to the secondment model. Thankfully, we have been very successful ensuring minimal gaps between projects, and we do this by staying in close communication with both our attorneys and clients so we can plan well ahead. As we are quite busy and have an ever-growing client list, the vast majority of our team will go from project to project without experiencing gaps.
