I worked at Parallon for the CareNow corporate office in the billing department. The upper management is extremely unprofessional. They are opening clinics left and right but not hiring any more staff. They are opening clinics in other states but not researching state laws. They are opening clinics before setting up contracts with insurance companies which is a headache for patients and the employees. They are putting the billing team in empty offices with tiny desks because "there aren't enough cubicles". Even though there are several empty cubicles. They have 4-8 people packed in rooms. The lead micromanages and will follow you around the building. I couldn't go to the bathroom or break room without her following me. They give you a ridiculous work load. I was the only one in my department and had been asking for help for ten months. Management didn't care until the CEO noticed and all of the sudden it's their #1 priority. However, they still didn't help they just started micromanaging even more. I finally had enough and put my 2 weeks in. 2 days after they had created a new team of 6-8 people to do the job I had been doing all by myself. They do not care about quality work just quantity. This is resulting in dissatisfied employees and patients. They do not care about their employees. There is an extremely high turnover rate. The pay is below average. They seem to reward employees who take shortcuts and make the numbers look good. They do not care about the staff at the clinics either. I transferred from the clinic hoping this would be better but it's just the same. All they care about is money.
