Less than entry level pay that is permanent

There are plenty of entry level positions for everyone

Cons

You get a permanent entry level pay that is less than other companies. It doesn’t matter how much you’ve learned or the additional responsibilities you have been given since you started. As a result, the experienced employees leave for better pay in other companies. The new hires have to reinvent the wheel because there are no experienced people around to train.

Pros

Can work from home, so don’t need to drive through all the traffic.

Cons

Productivity is just plain awful. The computer systems breaks frequently so can not work, but still responsible for all the work. The goals are already very difficult, more than on site, so this extra obstacle does not help. Having to spend a lot time outside of normal hours (unpaid) in order to meet the goals is just wrong. It is very unfair to be penalized when the company’s computers break down.

For Profit organization. (Follow the money). Poor support. No investment in their staff and equipment, only the size of the facilities in order to push more patients through. EMR is a DOS system (ancient). Pt to RN ratios are too high.
