      Pros

      There are a number of pros in working for a large, multinational media corporation. They offer a competitive salary, benefits and holiday package. There are opportunities to travel and to work in different countries. UK HQ is in Camden, which is a vibrant and interesting place to work. The office is relaxed and informal and there are opportunities to work flexible hours, as long as the role and the business can support this.

      Cons

      As it's a large company it is easy to be swallowed up by the machine and you have to work hard to make achievements stand out. Viacom could learn something from the likes of Google, Twitter etc when it comes to appreciating staff and focussing on values and culture as much as on the business and the bottom line.
