Plan to be at your job for a long time - not necessarily a good thing

Pros

They will keep you on for a long time and they are, currently, mostly hybrid.

Cons

I'm going on 7 years with them. I've been sitting on the same entry/mid level role since then. You will most likely be contracted and it will be for a long time. You will most likely not be promoted or, if you are, it will be small title bumps and pay every 2-3 years. You will have tons of work piled on you with no compensation for the extra work nor any promotions. Company no longer treats employees well apart from a standard benefits package and occasional office get together that seems like a low effort attempt to keep morale . Overall morale is just very low and the company is not it used to be .

Pros

There are some really awesome and brilliant people who work there in middle management depending on what team you're on. Also, some of the stories and projects we get to work on can be a ton of fun.

Cons

There was no respect at a certain level for quality. People would kill themselves to make something awesome, only for other folks to simply not care and have very little desire to make it something quality. The race to the bottom was apparent. It was sad to watch the ship go down.
