Sinking ship run by Captain of Titanic

Pros

Good benefits and time off. Mostly nice people.

Cons

CEO is running business into ground. First, replaced many top managers with friends and family. Then fired a dozen people earlier this year without any follow up communication to remaining staff. Employees fear for their jobs due to layoffs and relocation of several departments to Connecticut office. Others have jumped ship, including long-time CTO. Exits will most likely continue until changes are made at the top.

Thank you for taking the time to write the review and I am sorry to hear that you feel this way about how I run the business. I work to create a company that is diverse, accepting and welcoming to all talent, and provide them with great benefits you have mentioned. It is unfortunate that my efforts did not meet your expectations. As the company grew, we have been adding other offices and divisions not just around the country, but also worldwide. It helps Park Assist’s clients to have an easier point of access to our team, as well as allows us to add the necessary resources to support the ongoing company growth without the disruption of our NY headquarters’ operations. I assure you, that there is no long term vision of closing our NY office or eliminating current positions there. It is true that the industry and our company, has faced some challenging times a while back, and as a result we have been forced to make some tough decisions. We’re optimistic, however, that we are set to thrive, and our recent rapid business development is the main proof. Additionally, our new talent and redesigned organizational processes has given Park Assist everything the company needs to meet and exceed our projected goals. Lastly, I want you to know that I genuinely care about the success of our business and the entire team. I hope that you’ll come along (stay) for the Park Assist’s journey ahead, as I believe it is a bright one. Gary Neff CEO

Pros

The CEO turned the company around in 2013 and built a solid platform. His complete focus on the well being of all the employees goes far beyond most. As a longtime friend, I can tell you --contrary to other reviews-- he did not fire his friends. Disbelievers should speak with him directly and decide for themselves. The turnaround has been a success. Stick with the CEO - He's the real deal.

Cons

Rapid growth of young companies sometimes requires adjustment and correction. Be patient and diligent - it will pay dividends for all.
