Pros

The pay was nice. Working long hours was a plus and a negative.

Cons

Managers were cheats that were always trying to set people up for failure. Driveways unsafe during the winter. And staff never got the benefits they deserved.

Payrate was decent for the area.

Cons

Its a union so you are constantly getting bumped out of jobs that you like with clients that are used to you and like you. When you are bumped you never know what days or hoursnyou are going to have to take or what the clients will be like at the next home. You also in 95% of their positions have to spend the night three days in a row uncompensated from 11pm till 6am.

Pros

They take excellent care of the individuals in their care. The pay is good. They have a union for non management professionals. They have many good people that work for them. They have good benefits and the opportunity to advance. I think they are looking out for the best interest of the consumers. You can advance within. Carol Grant is a wonderful person who knows what she is talking about and I could count on her.

Cons

I could not always count on my supervisor. But I could get help from other supervisors. I was not always given the opportunity to present my side when my employees went to HR because they didn't like something I was made to feel it was my fault always even though it was not.
