Pros

Amazing culture and leadership - very low pressure compared to other corporate environments, no politics, extremely welcoming and close-knit. Remote Best benefits I've ever seen (99% of insurance is covered by Patch My PC)

Cons

Pay is low especially since I'm based in California but the Pros outweigh the cons.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. I really appreciate it, and I’m glad your first year has been such a great experience. Hearing “best company I’ve ever worked for” is a big deal to Marie and me. I also love the callout on low pressure, no politics, and being welcoming and close-knit. That’s exactly what we’re trying to preserve as we grow, and it only works when team members keep showing up for each other and our customers. I’m also happy the benefits are hitting the mark. Healthcare should not be a stressor. On the comp note, I hear you. California cost of living is no joke. We aim for consistent pay bands across a distributed team, so it can feel different depending on where a team member chooses to live. If you want to talk career growth and progression, your manager is the best first stop. Over time, that growth should translate into comp progression too. Thanks again for being part of Patch My PC. Thank you for taking the time to share this. And thank you for being here for more than three years. That commitment means a lot. I really appreciate you calling out your team members. We work hard to build a group of humble, caring people who want to serve each other and our customers well, so hearing there “isn’t a bad egg” is a big deal. I acknowledge the Growing Pains piece. This year has been a big year of growth for us, and we know that while change is happening, it can feel challenging. We have made several organization and role changes recently as we scale, and I know that can land differently for different people. As we scale, we add structure, clarify ownership and accountability, sharpen focus, and evolve leadership. That can change the feel of day to day work, and not everyone experiences that the same way. While aspects of our culture and how we work will continue to evolve, I hope our core values and expectations for how we treat each other, and show up for customers, have felt consistent through our growth. We are committed to scaling intentionally without losing our heart. I would really value a couple specifics on what felt like the biggest culture shifts and any thoughts on how we might address them. Please message me on Teams if you are open to a chat. Justin Chalfant

Pros

I've been working in IT a long time and have to say this company stands out from many, for several reasons. PMPC genuinely values both its people and its technology. The tech stack is advanced and constantly evolving giving employees the opportunity to learn, grow, and sharpen their skills. Leadership is strong, but never micromanages, allowing freedom to take on exciting projects while still being there for support. Management always has your back when collaborating with other teams and technical challenges. The overall culture is supportive, friendly, and empowering and is a place where IT engineers can truly thrive,

Cons

I can't think of any
