Pros

They pay better than your average local daily, the local teams care about the work you do, if you love being a reporter this job has huge possibly

Cons

Management is constantly changing their approach, so they may have a big push and change it just a month or two in, before you have a chance to put it to practice, they tend to be very in love with themselves and gush about how amazing the company is, but they don't really seem to understand all the work that goes into it. No 401k match, lots of lip service about mental health and diversity, but little understanding about how to enact a culture that appreciates and cultivates both
