Pros

In some towns, we were really making a difference in delivering local news. My colleagues were amazing The Editors worked really hard to build something special I was hired in the beginning, so my pay structure and position was grandfathered in, but I wouldn't accept a job now.

Cons

Company changes upper management constantly High turnover Just laid off 40% of their workforce I loved working here because of my team, but the company is spiraling downward - upper management has a huge issue for years. More concerned on racing to make the company profitable instead of setting up each Patch right. Overworks editors to the ground for minimal pay. East Coast (where it started) is doing far better than west coast.

Pros

They provided state of the art macbooks and ipads. They provided me with a cutting edge internet education.

Cons

Start up that is on the way down - no organization, no product recognition by customers, terrible pay scale. Management were very condescending.
