Work from home, relative autonomy, good relations with my community. I launched my site, which was challenging but rewarding. I don't know what it would be like to take over a new site.

Cons

Lots of attempted micromanagement, no editorial support, changing goalposts, diminished budgets. Management out of New York is crazy, so mid-level management has no time to deal with the actual, you know, stories that we put out.

The new sales management is why I left this company. EXTREMELY high sales goals. If you don't reach your goals two months consecutively, you are FIRED. Only 10-15% of sales people met their goals.
