Pros

They gave a raise to most when they acquired us.

Cons

As soon as infrastructure they wanted was in place they canned everyone that was not needed in their eyes from Sioux Falls. We were in PA. Obviously they didn't have a leg to stand on because they fought my unemployment which was rescheduled for a hearing I didn't go to and I still won. The management team doesn't have a clue what they are doing and the people they have running their network are close to brain dead.

Pros

Many talented individuals at all levels

Cons

Across the board 2% raises causes lol moral. Staff has worked double time filing in for vacant positions with excellent performances. Employees expected their raises first check Jan 2020 instead received email from CEO stating no pay increases while an external analysis is done to see who is Overpaid/ Underpaid and wishing those well who choose to move on and not wait! Now uncertainty as it appears Meta could take away from existing employees salaries. Employees are largely underpaid. No Bonuses were given to employees end of 2019. Loosing experienced employees at a very rapid rate!

Pros

Remote work resulting in decent work life balance. No one will challenge you if you mind your personal business during office hours. Decent healthcare benefits (until recently). Colleagues are good to work with. Stable and diversified business model.

Cons

Good culture turning into toxicity due to focus so much on stock price movement and top line revenue growth. The company has multiple culture conflicts internally that creates stress and bad politics. Distinct class system among leaders. If you are not in their good grace, your contributions are neither acknowledged nor rewarded. No room for quiet contributors who make a good impact. Pay raises are mediocre. Ask for top of the range salary. Don't count on pay raises or good bonuses down the road. Constant reorgs and newer work dumped on top of existing work on a quarterly basis with no training or support from your manager. No employee stock purchase plan for a publicly traded company. No stock awards if you are not a new VP or above. When a lay-off happens, they won't inform you. You will find out when some attendee does not show up to scheduled meetings or through your work buddies.
