Low Salary, No Vision, Seems that as a Services company Patni is more into a Master Servant relationship rather than as a partner with clients

Very incompetent Senior and Middle Management. Very conservative in thought, lacking in innovation and hell bent on keeping the company in the 1980's mode. Very employee unfriendly and does not respect talent. No opportunities for growth as Senior and Middle Management keep a tight grip on all positions by giving opportunities to only their own coteries. Favoritism and unfairness is rampant in the company. There is a lot of useless hierarchy, Managers managing managers managing more managers. Every body trying to get visibility by taking undesirable "initiatives" Use this company only as a stepping stone for your careers, use it as a spring board to jump onto bigger and better things. Do not spend more than 2 years with the company. Salaries and Benefits are below average relative to the industry.
