Pros

I have been here for a year and I can almost guarantee I will be here for 20 more. Patrick is not watered-down with useless people who look good on paper; it is comprised of individuals with talent that is unheard of, who want to positively shake the industry and change how it is perceived. It has a start-up company mentality but with years of experience. Innovative ideas are acknowledge and implemented, while negativity is not tolerated.

Cons

The cons are temporary. Benefits have been improving since I started.

Pros

This is a poor company not worth of your time.

Cons

Management likes to micromanage employees. This starts with the CEO. The CEO doesn't even have a basic understanding of technology. Some of the technical groups are driven by sales people, not technical people. Don't expect to get the resources you need to develop yourself. Below average benefits. Vacation policy is horrible. Management is chaotic, communication is poor, formula driven, will embarrass you if they see fit, not support you, defers to customers interest over employee's interest, and so. Avoid like the plague!

Pros

Many opportunities to work on a wide range of projects and learn new things if you are interested. Great people with various backgrounds and interests that are enjoyable to work with. Increased communication with employees has helped in the past year. Patrick has definitely been striving to do a better job of acknowledging employees, assisting with career growth/goals, and creating more of a unique company culture. There has been a more concerted effort to create a unified vision for the company's future that is focused on employees as the most important piece of that vision. These things already appear to be boosting morale and are encouraging employees to take more responsibility for their roles in the success of the company.

Cons

Reviews/raises/bonuses have been intermittent and unclear in the past, and made employee development difficult - recent developments may improve these issues. Poor communication at all levels in the past. Direction from managers has been unclear or completely lacking at times.
